Harvard ignored sexual harassment by a professor for years, lawsuit claims
Harvard placed Comaroff on leave for verbal misconduct, but did not find him responsible for unwanted sexual contact. The lawsuit, by contrast, alleges rampant sexual harassment and details threats Comaroff made against the students' future careers. One of the plaintiffs, Lilia Kilburn, argued that Harvard had allowed this behavior to continue unchecked for two years, and hopes that the suit will force schools to take sexual harassment survivors seriously.| Creator |
