Former Track Coach Charged with Child Pornography Distribution
Former Harvard track coach Walter W. Johnson ’71 was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. Johnson, who coached Harvard's track teams from 1982 to 2006 and later worked at Wellesley High and Middle Schools, allegedly exchanged sexually explicit messages and images on Craigslist for months. Federal agents began investigating Johnson in January, tracing explicit messages back to his email accounts. A search of his home in Framingham, Mass., revealed child pornography on his electronic devices.| Creator |
