SPH Lecturer Sues University For Gender Bias
Tamara Awerbuch-Friedlander, a Harvard School of Public Health lecturer, sued University for gender discrimination, claiming she was denied tenure-track positions and faced a hostile work environment. She alleged systematic discrimination against women, including biased promotion practices with a pattern of favoritism towards male candidates. Harvard has denied these claims. Despite a lack of support from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the trial is expected by year's end.| Creator |
