Weeks In, Sexual Harassment Investigation Office Remains Understaffed
Harvard's new Office for Sexual and Gender-Based Dispute Resolution, created to handle sexual assault and harassment claims, remains understaffed weeks into the semester. Currently, only one full-time investigator, William D. McCants, and a small support staff are in place. The office is still seeking two additional full-time investigators. University officials acknowledge the competitive market for qualified candidates, which complicates hiring. The salary range for these positions is reportedly lower than for similar roles at Harvard, which may hinder attracting experienced professionals. The office has seen no comment from University Title IX Officer Mia Karvonides.| Creator |
