Harvard Prof. Eric Rentschler Sanctioned for Violating Sexual Harassment Policies
Germanic Languages and Literatures professor Eric Rentschler has been placed on a two-year administrative leave for violating Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) sexual and gender-based harassment and professional conduct policies. This leave is effective immediately, barring Rentschler from teaching and attending Harvard-sponsored events and meetings. After the leave, he will only be permitted to teach non-required classes and cannot take on new advisees for an additional two years. These sanctions follow a review by the Office of Dispute Resolution and FAS.| Creator |
