Faust Says Admins Unaware of Dominguez’s Alleged Harassment
University President Drew G. Faust stated she and other Harvard administrators were unaware of Government Professor Jorge I. Dominguez's ongoing alleged sexual harassment after he was disciplined for misconduct in the 1980s. Dominguez, who has been accused of harassing at least 18 women since the 1980s, resigned following his placement on administrative leave by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Faust acknowledged there was no formal process to inform University leadership about past disciplinary actions against faculty. Harvard's investigation is ongoing, and Faust mentioned the possibility of invoking “third statute proceedings” to revoke Dominguez's tenure depending on the findings.| Creator |
