Grad Student Assaulted; Second Attack in 3 Weeks
A Harvard graduate student in Astronomy was assaulted near the Harvard Observatory on Garden Street. The woman was badly beaten, with one side of her face purple and swollen, and her skirt torn. This incident follows another attack three weeks prior, where a Radcliffe sophomore was raped. Despite similarities, Harvard police stated the attackers are not the same. Cambridge police have issued a composite sketch of the first rapist and increased security, including stationing guards at Radcliffe dorms and patrolling with a German shepherd.| Creator |
