Hussain Trial To Begin Soon; Jurors Sequestered By Judge
The trial of Dr. Arif Hussain, accused of raping a patient and sexually assaulting another at Waltham Hospital in 1978, is set to begin soon in Middlesex Superior Court. Judge Andrew G. Meyer has decided to try both charges simultaneously and will sequester the jury due to extensive pre-trial publicity. Hussain's previous conviction for a 1980 rape at Brigham and Women’s Hospital may also be considered in this trial.| Creator |
