Students Call for Beefed Security After Reported Rapes

Following two reported stranger rapes at Harvard, student leaders are urging the University to extend shuttle and escort service hours, increasing police presence, adding more lighting and emergency call boxes, and improving communication about ongoing investigations. The recent incidents have heightened student concerns about safety, leading some to adopt stricter personal safety practices. The University has increased security guards but has not confirmed any permanent changes.
